Architecture

The software is based on a client-server architecture. This assures that conflicts between two or more users that simultaneously access the database will automatically be resolved. To achieve that, we use technologies that have been exclusively developed to serve this purpose, i.e. (resolving concurrent access conflicts, retaining referential integrity, short response times of the system etc.). The clients are designed for internet and intranet use and communicate with the base-system (server) using the internet protocol TCP/IP.
